Top 10 crazy and innovative Google tech patents

Image
Google is known for pursuing moonshot projects. From self-driving cars to drone delivery, the tech giant always seems to have a futuristic project in the works. So we decided to dig through a bunch of the company’s patent filings to see what big ideas the company may pursue next. Now, it’s always important to take patents with a grain of salt. Many times a company will file a patent for a device that will never see the light of day. However, we stumbled across some pretty wacky patents that we just had to share. Some are cool, some are creepy, but they are all pretty zany. Take a look: 1.There’s a patent for a smart, and somewhat creepy, teddy bear. The bear comes with speakers, cameras, and microphones so it can listen to your conversations and watch your movements. Presumably, this would be used to watch little kids from afar as a parent, but Google hasn’t discussed the intention behind the patent filed in 2012 . 2.And one for a procedure that could give peopl

Is engineering or being an engineer in India in 2018 from a tier 3 college worth it?

Well if you are here for the first time and have not read the part1 to this post,I highly suggest you to go and read that and then try to read this as it will give you some exposition as well as contextual clarity over this post.. READ IT FROM here. Mumbai University Third Time's a charm they said....well? The academically most irrelevant year also the most fun year,so kind of a bitter sweet year is the T.E of engineering.I sincerely feel this is the year where you can properly pursue extra curricular activities or maybe any hobby "left" that you think you want to try. Talking about myself, Blogging was what I picked up in T.E. and i would consider this a fairly pursued hobby even though I have failed to be punctual and make any considerable money from it, but on the flipside it helped me with my command over the english language and my keyboard presence(very important if you are going to work in a software company and probably write codes the entire da

Avengers Infinity war review: Spoiler free review

Image
For the Marvel lover, this movie has got everything. Tons of characters (see poster that’s busier than the post office on tax day), lots of action, and great jokes and one-liners sprinkled in throughout the intense and power-packed movie. Unlike Captain America: Civil War, where you are just waiting for the Avengers to stop super-hero slapping each other around with no real suspense, Infinity War pits the ultimate mega-villain, Thanos, and his capable thugs against the heretofore seemingly invincible Avengers. You’ll know from the start, that this is not your typical happy-go-lucky good guy super-hero movie. One word, two syllables – IN-TENSE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK Can you watch this movie without seeing any of the previous Marvel movies and enjoy it? Sure, because it’s action-packed and simultaneously full of one-liners and zings. You will laugh, maybe cry and simultaneously clinch your teeth throughout the 2.5 hours. “It’s all been leading to this.” ―Tony Stark However,

Engineering from Mumbai University : 4 years of struggle that lead to an open ending.

Now that I have almost closing in on engineering, trying to make it through the final few days left,I feel I can be a qualified individual to write this blog about how has one of the most "Overrated" profession  in our country has been for me. Disclaimer: If you are here expecting yet another rant post against engineering,Stop right here because this is no rant against engineering. I have utmost respect for the profession and irrespective of the mockery that the profession and its professionals suffer on media, this is the field which will require you to give it all you got just to secure passing marks . Some exposition for my readers is that I studied from a tier 3(Not good at all in terms of basic requirements of  an engineering college) college in Mumbai University. There are many such colleges in Mumbai University and have been functioning in such unglorified way since the past decade. Now when I landed in such a college only thing that can go right is if you

A Quiet Place: Probably the best horror film concept in recent memory.

Image
A Quiet Place  is the latest entry in a string of contemporary high-concept postmodern horrors, very much of a piece with films like   It Follows ,  Don’t Breathe  or  Lights Out. What 's common in these movies are the logic of the movie drives it throughout the run time. The viewers are not clearly notified but are hinted during the course of the movie towards the logic of the movie. t Follows  is obsessed with the rules that govern its unstoppable supernatural force, with the teen protagonists seeking to exploit and manipulate them.  Lights Out  focuses on a creature that can only really move when it is unseen, weaponizing the audience’s impulse to look away or cover their eyes when presented with horrific images within the film. A Quiet Place  builds on the same horror movie anxiety as  Don’t Breath  – the audience’s urge to gasp or to scream in response to the events on the screen .  A Quiet Place  unfolds in a world dominated by monsters
